Elephant teeth facts

Elephants have the largest teeth in the world, known as tusks. They are modified incisors and are deeply embedded in the animals’ skull.
The heaviest pair of tusks belonged to an African Elephant Loxodonta Africana. They were different size but together they weighed 211kgs!
The longest tusk ever found belonged to the extinct the Straight-tusked Elephant. This animals tusks were averagely 5m long!
The heaviest tusks ever known weighed 226kg and belonged to the Colombian Mammoth.
Though people don’t have such impressive teeth, it’s worth checking them regularly at the dentist in Poland. Remember to take good care and remember that dentaltreatment in Poland is very professional and at a high level!
