Dental veneers are very thin shells made from
tooth-like material designed to cover the front surface of teeth. veneers can be
made of porcelain or resin composite materials. Most today are made of
porcelain to resist stains and so that the teeth shine similarly to natural teeth. The veneers are
placed on top of the teeth, hiding imperfections but also to change the size, shape or length of teeth.
For veneer treatment you will need 3 visits. At your first visit, the dentist will decide if you qualify for treatment. On the second visit, a small amount
of enamel will be taken to make room for the veneer. Then teh dentist takes an impression and sends it to a dental lab where the veneers are done. During your third visit,
your dentist will attach the veneers to your teeth. Veneers can also conceal chipps, cracks, or
uneven teeth. If your teeth are resistant to whitening, veneers will work for you. However you must have healthy teeth to have veneers.
If used with proper care, veneers in Poland can last
10 years or even longer. But remember that veneers are delicate. To minimize the chance of anything bad happening, avoid biting your
nails and chewing on hard objects. Regular dental checkups will also help
ensure that your veneers stay strong and beautiful.
