Dental Health during Pregnancy

Pregnancy causes major changes in a woman's body. Maintaing good dental health is important as the increase of hormones in your body may cause dental problems. One of the most common of these problems  is so called pregnancy gingivitis, occurring usually during the first trimester. Watch out for the symptoms which are bleeding, swollen and tender gums.

Remember that good oral health during pregnancy is important for the baby as well. Some specialists suggest that periodontitis may cause premature birth and low birth weight.
Here is how to keep your teeth and body healthy during pregnancy:

·         Visit your dentist in Poland for regular check ups and dental cleanings. 
·         Brush your teeth 2 times a day
·         Floss your teeth every day. 
·         Use an antimicrobial mouth rinse. They can help prevent gingivitis.
·          Brush your tongue daily to remove bacteria.
·         Eat nutritious meals and healthy food.
Dental treatment in Poland is maintained at a very high level, so don’t be afraid to visit your dentist!
