Eating yogurt can reduce the amount of bacteria that
cause bad breath – dentists in Poland
say.
Researchers have studied how eating natural yogurt
without sugar affects mouth odor and harmful bacteria in the mouth.
They found that the amount of hydrogen sulfide in the
breath of people examined decreased by 80% after six weeks consumption of
yogurt.
In addition, in these particular participants their gum
condition was better, and had less plaque.
According to the researchers, eating natural yogurts
can reduce bad breath and the presence of harmful bacteria in the mouth.
