5 steps to beautiful teeth

dentist abroad

You do not have to make much effort to be proud of your teeth. It is enough to devote approximately 10 - 15 minutes per day to oral hygienic procedures carried out properly and carefully, and once every few months go to the dental office for a dental check-up.

A recently conducted survey revealed a quite alarming picture of the Poles: almost 11% of women and 30% of men do not wash their teeth (!), And 99% of adults have tooth decay. Over 30% of young people lose their first tooth before adulthood.

Here are the steps to success, which is a healthy, beautiful smile:

1. Carefully remove the residual food debris from between your teeth with a toothpick. Please do it carefully in order not to damage the gums. Do not push the toothpick between the teeth by force, but move it subtly in the direction to remove the residue food.

2. Gargle your mouth with mouthwash, which softens the sediment and helps to remove it from the enamel.

3. Brushing and flossing - put toothpaste on a dry, soft brush and gently wash the teeth. Do not scrub them too hard, because you can damage the enamel or gums, which can cause inflammation of the periodontal tissues. Do not move brush along the teeth, but use sweeping motions away from the gums towards the tooth crown. Finish the brushing with cleaning the tangue; it collects a lot of bacteria responsible for caries development. For the brushing of gaps between teeth we apply the a brush similar to bottle cleaners. Flossing removes sediment from the hard to reach gaps.

4. Rinsing after brushing - it is a very important part of oral hygiene. Brushing is useless if you do not gargle your mouth with water afterwards. The water removes the remains swept away from the teeth and refreshes your mouth. After rinsing your mouth with water, it is also good to use a special mouthwash after brushing.

5. Control the health of your teeth regularly at the dentist, at least once every six months, and if you notice disturbing changes in the enamel, visit a dental office as soon as possible.
