How should proper oral hygiene look like?

Daily oral hygiene includes brushing the teeth twice a day (or even three times) with a medium or soft brush with an appropriate toothpaste, daily flossing and the use of fluoride rinses.

Is just teeth brushing enough?

Definitely not. We should also remember about brushing the tongue. The back of the tongue is one of the main habitats of microorganisms in the oral cavity and the source of its spread, especially when covered with coating. Special tools for cleaning the tongue are available on the market.

What is the role of a toothpaste?

Toothpastes are the most popular and commonly used substances for daily brushing of teeth. Its benefits are the following:
1. cleans the teeth of the sludge and deposits
2. increases resistance to tooth decay
3. is beneficial for the gums
4. prevents or limits the deposition of hard and soft dental deposits
5. provides good taste and smell.

Why should I use liquid mouthwash and floss?

Underestimated, although very easy method of oral hygiene is rinsing the mouth. Vigorous rinsing with water after a meal leads to the removal of debris, reduces the amount of bacteria, neutralizes the acidic environment of the mouth.
Flossing is the only effective method of removing remains from between the teeth.

In addition to home methods of teeth cleaning, do not forget about regular hygiene cleaning abroad in the dental office.
